MALAYSIA recorded 6,968 Covid-19 cases as of midnight, which is well below the 10,000 mark, the Health Ministry said.

6,936 of the infections were local cases while 32 of the infections were imported cases.

Meanwhile, 16 deaths were recorded, 8 of the deaths were Brought in Dead cases.

This brings the death toll to 35,465.

As of midnight, there were 90,724 active cases, with 1,955 patients hospitalized. – April 21, 2022.
