MALAYSIA recorded 11,994 Covid-19 cases yesterday, which is a slight decrease from the 12,105 cases the day before, the Health Ministry said.

11,969 of the infections were local cases while 25 of the infections were imported cases.

Meanwhile, 36 deaths were recorded, 9 of the deaths were Brought in Dead cases.

This brings the death toll to 35,228.

As of midnight, there were 157,571 active cases, with 3,174 patients hospitalized.

197 of the patients were in the intensive care units (ICU), while 108 of them required respiratory aid. – April 8, 2022.
