MALAYSIA recorded 12,017 Covid-19 cases this morning, the Health Ministry said.

11,958 of the infections were local cases while 59 were imported cases.

Meanwhile, 33 deaths were recorded, 10 of which were Dead on Arrival.

This brings the death toll to 35,193.

The total number of Dead On Arrival cases stood at 7,435.

As of this morning, there were 171,172 active cases, with 3,423.

234 of the patients were in the intensive care units (ICU), while 131 of them required respiratory assistance. – April 6, 2022.
