MALAYSIA reported a new high of 31,490 Covid-19 cases after two days of a slight decline in the number of daily cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases to 31,490, while the number of active cases stood at 306,681.

Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 8,095 infections, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 4,527.

Furthermore, there were 79 reported Covid-19 deaths, of which 19 were Dead On Arrival (DOA).

This brings the death toll to 33,384, while the dead on arrival cases stood at 6,948.– March 9, 2022.
