AFTER four months postponement, the 1MDB trial resumed today where a witness said former prime minister Najib Razak was the company’s “showrunner”.

Najib’s lead counsel, Shafee Abdullah contended that the former 1MDB’s CEO did not need to follow suit the directives of 1MDB board of advisers and Najib based on “theory”.
