[WATCH] If Umno supports Anwar, it breached Muafakat charter, says PAS
UMNO would have breached the Muafakat Nasional charter if it allows members to support Anwar Ibrahim as the next prime minister, said PAS.
The Islamist party’s secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said if Umno pulls support from Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, it would have breached the charter which states it will uphold a Malay-Muslim government. – September 25, 2020.
