NEWLY formed Pejuang is firmly backing Warisan president Mohd Shafie Apdal as the prime ministerial candidate ahead of the next general election.

Party’s protem deputy president Marzuki Yahya however said the party has not had any detailed discussions on the matter apart from agreeing to throw their weight behind Shafie.
Pejuang’s stand on backing Shafie means there is still no unanimous agreement among the opposition parties on their PM candidate, with PKR continuing to name its president Anwar Ibrahim for the top post. – August 28, 2020.
