FOR most, the thought of burying themselves alive might inspire crippling fear. But for Malaysian magician, Vikneswaran Allagu or better known as Vikey, it was a chance to prove himself.

The Merlin Award 2016 winner, the highest award given in the field of magic and illusion, attempted the deadly stunt in front of more than 200 spectators at a deserted plot of land in Rawang.

Vikey was chained with 13 locks and then nailed shut in wooden box. He had two minutes to escape.

As the clock drew closer to zero, Vikey mysteriously appeared from the crowd, to the shock and delight of onlookers.

Vikey said that he will submit an application for his act to be included in the Malaysian Books of Record.

In his next daredevil attempt, Vikey plans to burn himself allive. – November 20, 2017.
