[WATCH] Orang asli want basic amenities and land gazetted
THE Jakun tribe in Muadzam Shah, Pahang, has asked the government to provide their village with basic amenities such as clean water and electricity.
The village, which is located close to a landfill, is occupied by 22 families. The villagers used to scavenge for recyclables at the landfill but are now no longer allowed to do so, taking away their only way of making a living. – February 20, 2020.
