MUSLIM scholar Dr Kassim Ahmad says all religions in Malaysia, including Islam, should be run by their adherents and not the state.

The controversial 83-year-old thinker said this at a public talk at the Boundaries of Disbelief exhibition in Kuala Lumpur on April 16, 2017.

The rare public appearance of the former ISA detainee who wrote Hadis: Satu Penilaian Semula (Hadith: A Revaluation) attracted a number of people who also asked questions at the two-hour talk.
