FOREST city is a 1,386ha mega development near Gelang Patah, Johor.

The US$100 billion (RM400 billion) project is being developed in a joint venture between Country Garden Pacificview and Esplanade Danga 88 Sdn Bhd.

The development has come under scrutiny following a number of allegations against it. One of them being, a large proportion of its buyers to date are Chinese nationals.

Once complete, the project hopes to house 700, 000 residents. – October 9, 2018.
