THE Selangor PKR chapter is the only one that has yet to issue a statement backing Anwar Ibrahim as party president, said Rafizi Ramli.

The deputy president candidate, speaking at a hotel in Shah Alam last night, said the state PKR has not issued a letter of support for Anwar, who won the post uncontested last month.

“Other states have agreed (to support Anwar). Terengganu has issued a statement of support. Negri Sembilan supports, the Federal Territories support, Perlis supports, Pahang supports.

“Until today, Selangor has not issued a statement of support.

“Go and check now. The Selangor PKR leadership has not issued a statement in support of Anwar as president.”

Rafizi said several party members in Selangor have questioned Anwar’s decision to contest the Port Dickson by-election.

“(Instead of stating support for Anwar)... you have individuals in PKR questioning Anwar’s decision to contest in Port Dickson.”

Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali, who is defending the PKR No. 2 post, is head of the party’s Selangor chapter.

Vice-president Rafizi said he told Anwar that the latter’s journey to Putrajaya is not as easy as it seems.

“I told him, don’t take this matter lightly. Just because we have won (the 14th general election), don’t think your route to Putrajaya is secured.

“For 20 years, he was in and out of prison. We want him to become prime minister not because we are obsessed, but because we are confident that he can be the best prime minister for the nation.” – September 22, 2018.

  • Every speech causes split. This guy is alienating the Selangor PKR again. What good does that bring?

  • Shit stirrer strikes again.!!!! holy shit !!! how do you know that he will be the best PM for the country. Are you speaking with your down under orifice in sync with your idol. You better lie low profile as you are not making any headway. Every speeches and comments are only making your adversary stronger. Rakyat are getting irritated and suspicious of you. All your good work in Invoke are completely white washed as it can turn against you. Anwar is losing popularity due to his own foolish antics and fool hardy obsession. You are good but have recently lost your cleverness in your stupidity of being too clever. Take a break and think carefully and replan your route.

  • Stirring shit or poking fire this is what Rafizi is good for... he is not statesman material.. a Statesman is one who would motivate people on the the way forward... listen and u Ser stand their needs, provides solutions and take it to the ministerial level for debate and implementation. Only then people will gain respect and admiration for the individual..
unfortunately, rafizi is not that material.. he is brash, loves to challenge people (although this is a good trait) but he bull-dozes his way not realising the damage and impact it can cause the party.
His recent comment about only select few were included in the decision making on Anwars PD seat was brash, arrogant and sarcastic. It also showed his immaturity.. His comments were directed to the other Anwar team!
He is a shit stirrer and sadly his line-up have emulated his damaging strategy..
DSAI Thinks this is healthy (the animosity) between Azmin and Rafizi... but this is the start of the downfall of PKR.. its just a matter of time.. Anwar is also easily manipulated by Rafizi..

  • Rafizi may be right that Azmin may have the plan to ensure DSAI will not be the PM and therefore it will be much easier path for him to be the PM. Being the Economic Affairs Minister without the consent or approval of the then PKR president already proved that Azmin already has a plan with somebody to go for PM post. Azmin was also late in submitting his paper to defend his deputy president post last August indicated that he may have the plan to contest for president post but finally decided not to do so due to the risk is high if he was doing so.
