NAJIB Razak who walked out of the session’s court today after being bailed told Umno members to stay loyal with the party.
The former Umno president told members to remain calm and ignore the recent developments in the lynchpin Barisan Nasional party.

He was commenting on the decision by Supreme Council members Mustapa Mohamad and Anifah Aman to quit Umno.
Najib was asked if he knew why Mustapa, known as Tok Pa, left the party.
He said he has yet to speak to Mustapa and will get in touch with the Umno veteran as soon as he could.
“I do not know as I have yet to speak to him. Once I get the chance to speak to him, I will ask why,” he said.

Najib then told Umno members not to forget the party’s contributions.
Without mentioning names, he said the party has helped many individuals in Umno and members should not abandon it in difficult times.
The party and its BN component members lost federal power in the May general election.
“Umno has done a lot and it has contributed a lot to many of us. At times like this, it’s not appropriate for us to ditch the party.
“We must make sure that Umno stays strong. Let us show our loyalty to Umno and BN,” he added.
Earlier today, Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa said Mustapa did not quit Umno because of its collaboration with PAS.
Instead, he said, the Jeli MP was recently investigated along with others over funds the state chapter received before the 14th general election. – September 20, 2018.
