DEPUTY Home Minister Mohd Azis Jamman has fired his officer for allegedly taking an upskirt video of an optician.

“The action was deplorable and despicable. I have decided to take stern action against the officer who made the recording.

“After consideration, I have made the decision to sack the officer immediately as it affects my image and credibility as deputy home minister as well as the office of the deputy home minister,” he said in a statement today.

The aide, however, has denied recording any upskirt video .

Speaking to The Malaysian Insight, the aide said he did not tape the woman as alleged in her police report, which was lodged yesterday.

The man explained that he handed his phone to the woman after she confronted him.

“I knew about the report but the taping did not occur. It looked like I taped her but I did not.

“It was her assumption. When she confronted me, I gave my phone to her, for her to check,” the aide stated.

In her police report lodged at the Sentul district police station yesterday, the woman in her 30s said the suspect came to her optical store in Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur together with Azis at about 11am yesterday.

The woman then brought Azis and his assistant into the treatment room and while having the deputy minister’s eyes checked, the suspect took out his handphone and started recording the woman from behind.

The woman stated in her report that she felt that something was amiss about the man’s behaviour and the store’s CCTV recording captured the moment when the suspect recorded the woman from under her skirt.

Sentul district police chief, ACP R. Munusamy confirmed receiving the report but did not disclose any other information.

The CCTV clip, meanwhile, has gone viral on social media. – September 9, 2018.

    • Continued from above: (1) Since eye problems can exist silently without us knowing it, it is always best to see a qualified eye doctor to rule out any diseases. Eye doctors will give you a prescription to see an optician to get spectacles if needed. Opticians are not qualified to check for eye diseases (2) Regular exercise e.g. brisk walking, can help the guy clear his head of engaging in unbecoming behaviour like this..
