Patriot, G25 to host youth unity programme

TO empower young people, National Patriots Association (Patriot) and G25 are working together to host a youth unity programme.

Patriot director Capt (Rtd) Dr Wong Ah Peng said the collaborative effort with the group of ex-top civil servants was in line with the ex-servicemen’s mission to help empower Malaysian youth

“This is our first initiative with G25. The programme will be happening on August 25 at Taylor’s University. There will be a keynote speeches from our president, G25 and we will be inviting the education minister as well,” he said.

There will also be a forum on religion and ethics, as well as sports and community projects.

“Patriot is serious about empowering the youth of the country, therefore we are preparing not just one activity but several more activities to come.”

Patriot, led by Brig-Gen (Rtd) Mohamed Arshad Raji, has been vocal on matters of national security and corruption, and had urged the authorities to speed up investigations into the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) financial scandal. – July 24, 2018.
