S.A. Vigneswaran has been officially named the new president of MIC after winning the top post at the party polls today.
The Dewan Negara speaker won the post uncontested after receiving a total of 1,808 nominations.
Vigneswaran, who is a also a former vice-president, takes over the leadership of the party from Dr S. Subramaniam.
The former health minister lost the Segamat parliamentary seat in the 14th general election. β July 14, 2018.
