TRAFFIC on major expressways was smooth as at 10am, a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said.

He said traffic at the Jalan Duta (northbound), Sungai Besi (southbound) and Gombak (east coast bound) toll plaza was under control with no increase in the volume of vehicles.

“The number of vehicles on some expressways is expected to increase at noon,” he said today.

PLUS Trafik’s X account said the “Smartlane” at Km19 to Km27 (northbound) between Senai and Kulai was activated at 9.56am.

“The use of the emergency lane is now allowed from 8am to 6pm to facilitate traffic movement,” the post said.

PLUS said maintenance on the North–South Expressway Central Link (northbound) was underway with a “smartlane” activated at Km259.4 to Km262.4 (northbound) between Port Dickson to Seremban. – Bernama, December 25, 2023.
