TRAFFIC was slow on major expressways at 5pm today, with more vehicles on the roads ahead of Christmas.

However, no unusual congestion was reported on main roads leading out of Kuala Lumpur.

A Malaysian Highway Authority spokesman said traffic was slow at several locations including from Ayer Keroh to Simpang Ampat.

“Traffic flow is reported to be slow from Kuala Kangsar to Sungai Perak and from Senawang to Port Dickson heading north,” the spokesman said.

Updates on PLUS’ X account showed traffic was slow on the North-South Expressway Central Link from Putrajaya to Bandar Gamuda Cove, while on the East Coast Highway, traffic was slow towards Kuala Lumpur from Km20.8 to the Gombak Toll Plaza. – Bernama, December 24, 2023.
