ZAYN Rayyan Abdul Matiin, the six-year-old autistic boy who was reported missing on Tuesday, was found dead in a stream some 100m from his home at Idaman Apartment in Damansara Damai last night.

Police had launched a search after the boy was reported missing. 

Petaling Jaya police chief  Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the body was discovered about 10pm by a group of residents.

The boy was last seen near Block R of the apartment complex along PJU 10/1, Damansara Damai around 12pm on Tuesday.

He was wearing a white shirt with the SK Damansara Damai 2 emblem on it, black pants and black shoes, police had said.

The cause of death is under investigation. – December 7, 2023.
