Parliament to focus today on monkeypox, dengue

MEASURES to curb the rising cases of dengue and the prevention of monkeypox are in focus at today’s Dewan Rakyat sitting.

The Order Paper on the parliament website showed Shahidan Kasim (Arau-PN) will ask the health minister about the steps being taken to curb dengue cases.

Sabri Azit (Jerai-PN) will ask about measures to ensure monkeypox does not spread like Covid-19 in Malaysia.

Zahari Kecik (Jeli-PN) will ask the home minister about efforts to protect the welfare of police retirees.

Bung Moktar Radin (Kinabatangan-BN) will question the entrepreneur development and cooperatives minister on the plan to increase the number of Bumiputera entrepreneurs.

The session, which began October 9, ends tomorrow. – Bernama, November 29, 2023.
