FIVE areas in Malaysia recorded “unhealthy“ air quality as of 11am today.
The Air Pollutant Index (API) showed unhealthy readings in Seberang Jaya (155), Nilai (127), Port Dickson (124), Batu Pahat (103) and Larkin (155).
An API reading of 0-50 is considered “good”, 51-100 (moderate), 101-200 (unhealthy), 201-300 (very unhealthy), and 300 and above (hazardous).
Air quality in the rest of the country is reported to be “moderate”. – October 1, 2023.
