THE retail prices of RON97, RON95 and diesel would remain unchanged at RM3.47, RM2.05 and RM2.15 per litre from September 28 to October 4.
The Finance Ministry in a statement today said the government was maintaining the retail prices of RON95 and diesel to protect consumers from global oil price hikes, which have exceeded ceilings.
“The government will continue to monitor changes in world crude oil prices and take measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people,” it said. – Bernama, September 27, 2023.
