BUKIT Gasing will see a tri-cornered fight with incumbent Rajiv Rishyakaran of Pakatan Harapan looking to secure the seat for a third term. 

He is up against V.K.K. Raja of Muda and D. Nallan of Perikatan Nasional. 

Rajiv said the nomination process felt different this time around as Barisan Nasional members were among his crowd of supporters at the centre today.

“It’s now blue (BN) and red (PH) and the atmosphere is different as opposed to before when we were divided. BN will be supporting all our candidates,” he said.

“With the crowd today we can see that PH supporters are excited to start. We have two weeks of campaigning and we want all the people to go out and vote on August 12.

As for his opponents, Rajiv said that while he was confident of support, he would not take anything for granted.

Seri Setia will see a four-cornered fight with PN’s Mohamad Zubir Embong, PH’s Mohd Fahmi Ngah, Independent L. Harinderan and Muda’s Dobby Chew.

Taman Medan will see a straight fight between Afif Baharuddin from PN and Ahmad Akhir from PH. – July 29, 2023.
