Parents are unhappy over claims that a workshop for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia pupils at a convent school in Johor was only meant for Muslims. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 24, 2023.

PARENTS and the public have strongly reacted to claims that a workshop for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) pupils at a convent school in Johor was only meant for Muslims.

The workshop, held at a hotel in the state, covered critical subjects including Additional Mathematics and Chemistry.

  • Will the education minister take this as an opportunity to clean up MOE and remove extremists? Or will she continue to pretend it is not her problem? We all know this discriminatory practice is not limited to Johor! Perhaps the minister is afraid of the truth? That she herself is the product as well as beneficiary of this extreme racist system?
