THE four senators who have been appointed to the cabinet will take their oath tomorrow morning at 8.30am.

The president of the Dewan Negara, Rais Yatim, confirmed the time of the ceremony in a message to Astro Awani.

The four are, Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Saifuddin Nasution, Zambry Abd Kadir and Mohd Na’im Mokhtar

Tengku Zafrul who lost in his Kuala Selangor parliamentary seat quest, as the international trade and industry minister. He will be taking  the oath for his second three year term.

He also appointed PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who failed to defend the Kulim Bandar Baharu parliamentary seat as home minister.

BN secretary general Zambry Abd Kadir, who lost in the fight to win the Lumut parliamentary seat, has been appointed the foreign minister.

Chief Syariah Judge Mohd Na’im Mokhtar that takes up the religion related portfolio did not contest in the general election. –  December 2, 2022.
