Expect delays on Kelana Jaya LRT line, commuters told

COMMUTERS have been told to expect a reduction in train frequencies at several stations on the Kelana Jaya LRT line after one of its trains developed a glitch and had to be taken out of service. 

In a Facebook post, RapidKL said the frequency of train services at several stations between Kerinchi and Ampang Park will be delayed to about 15 minutes. 

“The replacement train will be in operation in a short while and the service will be adjusted. We thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience,” it said in the brief post. 

Earlier this month, 16 stations on the line was taken out of service for about a week after signalling problems. 

Subsequently, RapidKL provided compensation for seven days to users, following the suspension of operations. – November 29, 2022.
