THE rakyat have witnessed how the politicians are taking the country towards a scary direction, solely due to their selfishness and greed for power.
It is not about an economy that’s not doing well.

It is about the politics and the system of government that the rakyat rightly see as heading off the rails.
No politician has yet proposed a workable fix to our problems, with the issues are integral to the system.
Information is manipulated. Truth is based only on the politicians’ version of events. Dissent is becoming less and less tolerated.
Public discourse is being more and more aggressively disrupted by the powerful.
The people are being shaped into the exact sort of homogeneous, power-serving, propagandised population that our politicians criticise other nations, like Myanmar, of having.
Yet at the same time, the people are being told that the country holds free speech, free thought and accountability for the powerful.
What probably actually happening is that the politicians are just making up excuses to do the thing they have always wanted.
The pandemic of the past couple of years showed us that all how much politicians lie.
Whoever gets to govern the country after November 19, nothing will change.
The conviction of Najib Razak will not change a thing, regardless of whether Anwar Ibrahim, Muhyiddin Yassin or Ahmad Zahid Hamidi becomes prime minister.
It is a game of musical chairs for the powerful elite to determine who shall be the ‘numero uno’ for the next decade or so.
The people will remain where we are, scrounging for a living in an ever shrinking economic environment.
Hopes will vanish and dreams will remain just that.
Instead of uniting the people, the politicians treat us like sand, allowing it to disintegrate and drift off in different directions, aimless, through the sieves of their fingers.
Corruption will continue to flourish.
It may slow down a bit but definitely it won’t come to a complete halt.
Then it will resume again with greater intensity. It was never about the people.
When the rakyat voted for a government of their choice, the losers conspired to `steal it’ and even openly admit to initiating the act and conspiring with others to `steal it’.
The rakyat was not consulted. Not even a sliver of their voices and objections were taken into consideration.
Now that these conniving politicians found that their very existence as a politician is being threatened in the snake pit they put themselves in, they are putting the rakyat life at risk by insisting polling to be held in the midst of a monsoon season and a potential outbreak of the new Covid variant.
Was it for the rakyat as they want us to believe?
The plea for political stability is not for the country and the rakyat.
The stability they are seeking is for their own political coalition to be more deeply entrenched, so it cannot ever again be threatened by other wannabes.
It is the fervent hope of those voters whose right was denied in that fateful night in February 2020, for their rights to be reinstated this time and for it to be respected by every single politician for its entire tenure of five years. – November 5, 2022.
