THREE police officers have been injured after clashes with anti-fascist protesters in the northwestern Italian city of Turin as tensions mount ahead of the country’s general election, judicial sources said today.

The protesters were demonstrating against a meeting of the far-right CasaPound movement in the city centre yesterday night when violence broke out.
