PERIKATAN Nasional’s (PN) proposal to use a new logo and colour in the 15th general election (GE15) is to avoid confusion between PN and Barisan Nasional (BN), PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said.
He said the pact’s top leadership discussed the possible adoption of a new logo after the Malacca and Johor elections showed that some of its supporters were confused between the PN and BN colours.
“PN will look into the possibility of changing to a colour different from those of BN and other parties in the next general election,” he told reporters today.
Tuan Ibrahim, who is Kubang Kerian MP, said this when asked to comment on PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin’s statement that PN was planning to introduce a new logo for GE15. – Bernama, July 12, 2022.
