Fake news or coloured truths?

KJ John

LIFE in the Trump White House (WH) is a challenge for anyone used to management theories and leadership philosophy. Especially for those trained about objective truth matters and authenticity.

Whether it is through the President’s twitter-media or through the formal and appointed spokespersons, their coloured truths remain questionable.

Almost 20 key selected and specialised staff have resigned from the WH in less than a year. Every other week there is a controversy of one form or another.

The latest gaffe relates directly to their much-touted National Security; one of the so-called priorities of the Trump Government. Their right hand to the Chief of Staff recently was forced to resign, after the “battered picture of one of his previous wives came out in a popular daily.” Another officer also left for the same reason before the dust even settled!

Visible racism at WH

While calm appears to have reached the White House for now, the quality and visibility of the calm is obviously notable; to me at least. Why is the WH so filled with Caucasian looking humans? Is that not a hint of the real source of Trump’s implicit racism, and related core problems with lack of respect and trust for others; i.e. those different from him?

Why is there only a token number of Blacks and Hispanics in the WH in the 21st Century? Trump’s racism has been aggressively asserted by the other side too but fiercely defended by the White House.

Of the about 20 people who have been “fired or who left voluntarily,” to use a Trump Show phrase, it has become too obvious to me that the Trump racism does visibly reveal itself. My reason is simple: of the 20 who left then WH; only one was a black person.

Premised upon the idea that all his appointees reflect “his choice of best in the world;” it is very clear that the White House, remains just that – a House for the White Peoples’ of the US of America; post a Black and Afro-American President.

That is not just fake news but a white-washing of truths definable by both media and modern science. The time-frame defines known revealed truths, and twitter views of Presidents about his version of truths. The US Media calls it the “fogging of truths;” which is one strategy to “fog or confuse the truth on any matter of fact,” by diffusing any of the specific objective truths.

Malaysian truths

Our Malaysian iconic institution, the Bank Negara Malaysia, recently came under equally severe scrutiny of global news makers, economists, and sincere truth seekers. It was reported that BNM, our Central Bank, bought some land behind their current headquarters for a training or educational centre at market price of RM 2 billion.

Is this a truthful, honest, and right report of what happened in the property market? We need investigative journalists to dig and inform the ordinary public about truths of this matter. After all, with the Yuan now as a favoured currency, maybe all Malaysians need to not lose faith in the ringgit, too. – February 19, 2018.

  • The colour of the people serving in the White House need not reflect the racial composition in the country, because there are just a few hundred, and we do not necessarily see all of them in the news. We should be talking about the composition of the government services numbering over 1 million where a race comprising 60% of the population occupy 90 % of the government positions. That is obviously lopsided, and worse, they are official government policy.
