NAJIB Razak has told Malaysians to choose between the government and opposition based on who has brought about the most development.
The prime minister, in urging Malaysians not to spoil their votes in the 14th general election, said the best choice for the people was obvious.
He was commenting on the #UndiRosak movement, which calls on the people to spoil their votes as both the government and the opposition were not benefiting Malaysians.
“
Najib said unlike the opposition, much infrastructure development – such as the Mass Rapid Transit project, Penang Second Bridge, Tun Razak Exchange 106, KL118, Urban and Rural Transformation Centres, Kota Iskandar, East Coast Rail Link and High-Speed Rail – had been carried out by the government.
“This all adds to job and business opportunities.
“In fact, the government’s programmes to increase the people’s purchasing power, such as entrepreneurship funds, medical subsidies, education and training schemes like SL1M, and affordable homes such as PR1MA, are all for the sake of nation building and improving the people’s quality of life.
Najib said Penang was rife with scandal, such as the chief minister’s bungalow case and allegations of corruption in the state’s undersea tunnel project.
“We already have two Penang bridges, so why is there a need to waste people’s money by building the undersea tunnel?
“This is in comparison with the Barisan Nasional government, which is consistent in bringing development to the country, as well as ensuring the future of every Malaysian.”
The Penang tunnel project is now under Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission investigation.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has been engaged in a public spat with his detractors from BN since the MACC investigation began early last month. – February 9, 2018.

LGE had been renting the Bungalow, and the owner offered to sell it. The sale took place long after the offer when the market price has gone up. In any case, it was a transaction of private properties between two Malaysians. MACC can trace if there were any corruption perpetrated by LGE because he is CM. There is no business asking why there should be a discount. Can't a citizens sell his property cheap? Is it only foreigner who can give a gift to PM.
Giving RM 2.6 billion as personal favour breaks Guineas book of record for gift making. So it has to be selling something only a person with absolute government power could do. That must be selling the country's interests.
