More than 12.1 million adults given Covid-19 booster

THE government said 12.1 million adults have received the Covid-19 booster as of yesterday.

Based on the CovidNow portal, 22.9 million people or 97.9% of the adult population in the country have completed the vaccination, while 23.2 million (99.1%) people have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Some 2.79 million adolescents ages 12-17 have completed the vaccination, while 2,87 youths or 91.1 per cent have received at least one dose.

A total of 100,810 doses of the vaccine were dispensed yesterday, involving 2,497 as first dose, 2,603 as second dose and 95,710 as booster dose, bringing the total to 63.7 million jabs. – Bernama, February 4, 2022.
