PKR is looking set to lose all the 11 seats it contested in the Malacca state elections.
According to unofficial results from Pakatan Harapan (PH), PKR is trailing in all 11 seats against Barisan Nasional (BN).
Except for Paya Rumput, the other 10 seats have been fully accounted for.
Even here, BN is ahead with 2,204 votes while PH has 1,684 and Perikatan Nasional, 1,246, according to the PH Facebook page as at 9.15pm.
Paya Rumput is where PKR information chief Shamsul Iskandar Akin is contesting in a five-cornered fight.
Among the 11 seats PKR is set to lose are Tg Bidara, Lendu, Rembia, Machap Jaya, Asahan, Sg Udang, Kelebang, Ayer Molek, Rim and Sg Rambai.
In all these seats, the party has tallied almost all results from the polling stations.
Going into this election, PKR had only three seats – Rembia, Machap Jaya and Kelebang – won in the 2018 general election.
Apart from Shamsul in Paya Rumput, another hot seat for PKR is Asahan, where former Malacca chief minister Idris Haron is contesting on the PH ticket after being sacked from Umno.
Idris is the former Sg Udang assemblyman and was among the four state legislators that withdrew support for Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali from BN, triggering the state elections.
At 9.30pm, Idris picked up only 2,561 votes to BN’s 5,048.
In Machap Jaya, BN is ahead with 3,269 votes, against PH’s 2,582 votes, while in Kelebang, BN has 4,947 votes to PH’s 4,192. – November 20, 2021.

By accepting frogs he showed everyone that he has lost his moral compass.
That is the single biggest reason PH supporters abandoned PKR.
