HURRICANE Olaf slammed into Mexico’s Baja California peninsula near the beach resorts of Los Cabos yesterday, threatening more damage in a country already reeling from an earthquake and deadly floods.
Olaf made landfall very near the city of San Jose del Cabo as a Category Two storm packing maximum winds of 160km per hour, the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
