MALAYSIA will continue to be well-administered as civil servants remain committed to their work, Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Zuki Ali said today.

According to Zuki – appointed on January 1, 2020 – he chaired a special meeting online with ministry secretaries-general and department directors-general this morning.

“Each ministry and agency continues to focus on efforts to revive the economy, and intensify the implementation of existing policies for the survival of the people and the country,” Zuki said.

“We will continue to work hard to the best of our ability,” he added, saying the welfare and well-being of the people remains a priority for the civil service in this challenging situation.

Yesterday, Zuki released a statement that the public service will not be affected by the political upheaval, after caretaker Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced his resignation, shortly followed by his cabinet. – August 17, 2021.
