Well done, prime minister, you have stood your ground

HATS off to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin for finally exposing what the likes of certain Umno leaders, especially Zahid Hamidi, are up to.

Everyone knew Zahid was hanging on by a thread and would do anything to get himself off the hook for his corruption cases, and today, Muhyiddin openly confirmed it.

Our praises to you, Muhyiddin, for not bowing to their pressure. If you wanted to get their support, you could have easily broken the doctrine of Separation of Powers and interfered in the Judicial process.

By putting your foot down and saying no to Zahid and Najib Razak, you have stood your ground and proved your credibility.

We sincerely hope that critics around you will realise the kind of pressure you have been facing from these unscrupulous duo from Umno.

They have been relentless in threatening the government just so they can escape from being put behind bars.

You have stood your ground. It is indeed very admirable and brave of you, Prime Minister, to stick your neck out and let Parliament decide the next move.

You could have taken the easy way out if you are greedy for power by just pandering to the whims and fancies of Umno.

For years, Umno has been known for its greedy, allegedly corrupt politicians and this certainly puts the nail on the coffin.

Even back then when Muhyiddin was the deputy prime minister, he opted to quit rather than share the 1MDB cake with Najib.

To us, you have proven your credibility and no matter what others may say, to my family, friends and me, you are truly a worthy, credible Prime Minister. – August 4, 2021.
