INDIVIDUALS can now film and take pictures while getting vaccinated to prevent misunderstandings, Khairy Jamaluddin said.

Khairy, the coordinating minister for the national vaccination programme, said this after several incidents of empty syringe claims were posted online.

“I have ordered that from now on, the public can film or take pictures while getting vaccinated.

“This is to prevent any misunderstanding and to show proof that everyone got their shots,” he said this afternoon in a virtual press conference with Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.

Vaccine recipients were previously barred from recording or taking pictures while being vaccinated at the Covid-19 vaccination centres .

They were only allowed to take a picture or video at a designated area after getting the shot. – July 23, 2021.
