Change of govt not discussed during an audience with Agong, says Anwar

PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim said there was no mention of forming a new government, following his audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah this morning.

The Pakatan Harapan chairman said he requested the king refrain from extending the state of emergency after it ends on August 1.

He said the emergency has been hard on the people, and was “only causing losses for the country”.
