AN award-winning actor and film director was arrested after he assaulted a traffic police officer and a civilian at the Kota Damansara police station at lunchtime.

The 37-year-old celebrity was filing a report at the traffic counter about 1.20pm when he suddenly slapped the officer taking the report. He also kicked a person nearby in the leg before he was subdued and arrested.

Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Mohamad Zani Che Din said the man was “calmer” after being handcuffed.

The man would also be remanded after a drugs test came back positive, said Zani.

He is detained under Section Section 90 of Police Act 1967, for disorderly conduct in a police station, and Section 323 of the Penal Code, for voluntarily causing hurt.

If you do not stand up to a bully - you are a bloody fool. Bully are basically coward - and they will retreat if and only if you fightback. We worked with a bully in a joint venture company between a French multinational & local conglomerate. Despite their progressive Business DNA - a washed-out local Queky former agency manager from AIA was was appointed to lead its agency force. Position and power went to his head - bullying, lying, cheating, name calling & sexual assaults on female staffs/agents. Read more at changenow083.blogspot.com
