The Health Ministry will propose to the National Security Council a stricter conditional movement-control order, where only the economic sector is allowed to stay open. – The Malaysian Insight by Seth Akmal, October 18, 2020.

THE Health Ministry will moot a stricter conditional movement-control order (CMCO), with only the economic sector allowed to operate, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

He said this will be raised in the upcoming National Security Council (NSC) meeting.

“The ministry wants to suggest targeted approaches in areas under CMCO, only allowing the economic sector,” Noor Hisham said during his press conference at Putrajaya today.

In a move to control the virus transmission and reduce the number of cases, he said the proposal will be made to reduce the number of gatherings in Klang Valley and Sabah.

“There is a need to control the education, sports and social sectors in targeted areas, he said.

“This will be discussed in the NSC meeting,”he said.

Malaysia reported a record-breaking 871 Covid-19 cases today, just a day after recording 869 cases.

Of today’s cases, Sabah recorded 702 new cases, which is 80.6% of today’s total, while Klang Valley reported 9.6%. – October 18, 2020.

  • Seriously, it's been a flip flop from day 1. I can't brain the constant changes. Also get the VIPs and their hangers on to comply too.
