Anwar at Bukit Aman for questioning on MP list

PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has arrived at the federal police headquarters in Bukit Aman to have his statement recorded on a list of 121 MPs who allegedly support him to form a new government.

The Port Dickson lawmaker avoided the press by using the back entrance into BukIt Aman at 3pm.

Reporters have been waiting for him at the front gate from as early as 1pm.

Federal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Huzir Mohamed in a statement yesterday said that 113 police reports have been lodged against Anwar on the matter.

“The case is being investigated under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.

“Investigation is still ongoing and so far, 113 police reports have been lodged,” he had said. – October 16, 2020.
