  • The only way for Muhyiddin to salvage his battered legacy is to return Bersatu to PH and cut a deal with Anwar whereby the Premiership will transition to Anwar in say, March 2021, the 1st anniversary of Sheraton Move. This way Bersatu has a decent chance to thrive and its elected members can fight another General Election.

As for Muhyiddin, he can hold his head high having proven his mantle by winning the Sabah elections and handling the pandemic. Muhyiddin can also set the tone for the Anwar Administration by reshuffling a more inclusive cabinet which may include some acceptable UMNO and PAS MPs. Muhyiddin can also initiate some reform measures for Anwar to continue. These will go to his credit.

Do not be selfish PM Sir. Think of your party colleagues and the Rakyat please. Ignoring the elephant in the room hoping that it will go away is a lose lose proposition for you and Bersatu. Flogging the PN horse is a futile effort.
