FORMER finance minister Lim Guan Eng said today anti-corruption officers did not question him over the RM3.3 million he allegedly received in kickbacks over the Penang undersea tunnel project.
Reiterating that the graft charges against him are politically motivated, the DAP secretary-general said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has not shown where the money he allegedly received is hidden.

There is no trail when no money was given or received. What a stupid cooked up charge . Question...who is the hidden evil hand behind this prepostrous charge ?

The MACC just made up a number. They have no money trail to support their charges as they have only their wild imagination to pursue this case. No money changed hands, and no gratification was received. Quite clearly this is a straightforward case of political persecution.
In another situation however, on the same day that Apandi Ali cleared Najib of wrongdoing in the SRC case, Apandi Ali was appointed to the board of Tabung Haji, a position that carried with it a million RM annual salary.
For the then AG to receive such gratification on the same day that he absolved the lead suspect, (and who has since been found guilty on all charges by a Court of Law), smacks of blatant corruption.
Why hasn't Azam Baki and the MACC seen fit to arrest and immediately charge Apandi Ali for corruption, collusion, and obstruction of justice?

Because up there someone said must charge, so MACC just charge lah. Whether strong or have evidence or not, MACC said I have done our job. Finish, don't kacau us again.

The sign that GE is near is so very clear.

Why would LGE be a threat to MY or anybody politically? LGE has nothing to worry if there's no wrong doing. Let's hope there's some integrity left in the judiciary. Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela Anwar Ibrahim Aung Sang su chi went to jail and became stronger leaders

Can you please stop following The Star way of doing news writing? Just one direction news? Where is your research or sending your people down onto the field and ask MACC about this? Or waiting for a press release by them? What about actually doing a piece on the tunnel project or investigate the consortium?
Unless you guys hired The Star people, then no choice. Another overpriced mediocre news portal. And remove them ads since you're charging.
Write good news that people will pay to read and not read just for clicks.
If you're scared for being turned into tabloid, understand the difference between investigative journalism and copy cat.
