PARTI Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) today rubbished suggestions by PAS that the new party lacked direction.

“We have our constitution. Our direction and goals are clear. We told this to the grassroots and it was accepted because they uphold the same vision – to topple Barisan Nasional and Umno,” said Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin today.

He said the Pas president may not understand Bersatu because it is a new party.

“Maybe PAS does not follow us because we are a new party,” he said after attending a Pakatan Harapan meeting at the Bersatu headquarters in Petaling Jaya today.

Muhyiddin said that despite what had transpired during the muktamar, there were voices at certain levels who wanted the party to forge ties with Bersatu.

“It is up to them what they want to do. We will take it as a guide and continue working with others in the opposition coalition. That’s more important.” – April 30, 2017.
