INVESTIGATIONS into Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief Dzulkifli Ahmad for allegedly enticing a married woman are ongoing, with papers submitted twice to the Attorney-General’s Chambers, the Inspector-General of Police said today.

Mohamad Fuzi Harun said police had submitted investigation papers on October 17 and on October 30 and will do so a third time after the AGC handed them back for more information.

“The papers were sent back to us as there are many follow-up steps we have to do before we can resubmit the papers,” he said in a press conference after visiting the Special Action Force training centre in Cheras today.

Police are investigating him under Section 498 of the Penal Code for enticing a married woman.

He has neither confirmed nor denied being the man in the videos and has only said he would not bow to such “dirty tactics”.

Fuzi, asked whether police had taken Dzulkifli’s statement, said: “We have taken the necessary action. We know how to do our job.”

Dzulkifli continued with his duties in Sabah today, attending a talk for students on Combating Corruption and Power Abuse at Universiti Malaysia in Kota Kinabalu.

He announced a second Ops Armada to crackdown on illegal fishing syndicates in Malaysia, would be launched soon.

He also said the MACC would go to primary and secondary from next year to raise awareness about bribery and corruption among children.

At the event, Dzulkifli refused to take questions on whether he was being pressured to quit MACC.

It is believed some Umno leaders are wary of the Dzulkifli’s leadership of the MACC which has been actively cracking down on big cases, while a recent editorial in Malay daily Utusan Malaysia said the attacks on Dzulkifli could have been due to the anti-graft body going after gambling dens.

Umno’s Langkawi MP Nawawi Ahmad, however, told the Dewan Rakyat last week to be cautious about the videos of Dzulkifli and the married women, saying they could have been doctored. – November 11, 2017.

  • Have the police nothing better to do? Its going to open a Pandora Box. Then there will be gangsters and pimps blackmailing men because many call girls are married. And cuckolded husbands and scorned wives will have an avenue to exact revenge. Look at the divorce statistics.... how many are due to infidelity? Our lawmakers were MORONS to pass this law.

  • Neither YES nor any outright NO! That equals to being NEUTRAL. For he who wanna act Holier-than-Thou w/ relentless moral preaching from Day1 on lofty pedestal, his refusal to issue an unqualified denial just underscores, I humbly opine, that he DID it! That's plain as the pouring rain like the current monsoon spell that 1Malusia gotta itself trapped in.

  • This particular incidents has made a mockery of all institutions in Malaysia and now it looks like there is no haste to conclude the case. Every institution involved are trying to drag the scandals to their advantage to bleed and ensure positive outcome for themselves. AGC have already received two submission by the the police and both parties are happily to colaborate for a third submission. What is the purpose of another third submissions where the second submission should have fulfilled the requirements if the first submission is inadequate . It only shows both AGC and PDRM are not serious and incompetence in filing investigations report. Stop the pony dance please!!!! On the other hand the MACC are very quiet and playing dead possum while the PM is indifferent to the public outcries. The only noise level is from the concern MPs of the other political divide but nothing much is on the platters. It looks like the situation is forcing the Rakyat to determine a conclusion. If the main man in this scandalous affarirs is still keeping his silence hoping that this concerns shall fizzle out and reslove by it self--------then it is a forgone conclusion that he is indecisive, a coward, an incompetent MACC Chief without integrity and not fit to hold his job any second longer. The rakyat should press hard for his resignation before he damage the country further. This job is only for a person of high calibre and virtous character not easily led astray by lust and earthly vices temptaions.
MACC Chief Please resign!!!!!!!! DO NOT DRAG THE COUNTRY TO DIRTS.
