MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad finally broke his silence on the alleged extramarital affair, saying he will not allow these “dirty tactics” to sidetrack him from his fight against graft.

Dzulkifli told TV3 that the attacks were due to the MACC’s aggressive approach since early this year to tackle cases of corruption and abuse of power.

“These dirty tactics are meant to smear my image and reputation as MACC commissioner and to bring down the credibility of the MACC in our efforts to ensure that this country is free from corruption and abuse of power,” he said without going into details of the dirty tactics.

He said he will not bow down to such attacks and will continue fighting graft.

“We are going to continue carrying out our duties as best as we can. Such allegations will not affect us,” he told TV3.

He said he has also contacted Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun about the matter.

“I will leave it to the police to take necessary action,” said Dzulkifli.

“I want to stress that MACC and its officers are not perturbed by all these dirty tactics.”

Dzulkifli was referring to a three-minute video which surfaced last week alleging that a couple had divorced on September 28 at the Ulu Klang lower shariah court due to the woman’s alleged affair with him.

He, however, did not not say if the contents of the video were true or not.

The woman at the centre of the allegations came out earlier to say she that she will accept the blame but will not reveal the real reason behind her divorce. She also said she had been under pressure to clear her name.

She also apologised to Dzulkifli and his family in a Facebook post.

A police report on the video was lodged by a sales executive last week and today, Fuzi said police are investigating the case for allegedly enticing a married woman with the intent of having illicit intercourse.

Those found guilty face up to two years’ jail, a fine, or both.

“Give us time to investigate this matter. It is not easy for us to detect (who is responsible), but we are trying hard to find out who it is,” he had said. – October 17, 2017.

  • In the case of "Altantuya" motive of the murder was swept under the carpet. Ironically, this time around when the MACC boss was caught with his pants down, they are busy dissecting the motive.

  • MACC Chief --- please tender in your resignation.!!!! When one is a top brass and holding a very high profile job no quarter is spared in the demand on morality and integrity to ensure a top class job is done without compromising the responsibility and accountability. Coming forth in a speech and acting heroic in the guise of upholding your convictions in graft busting have no relevance to the hotly alleged extramarital affairs. Sillily claiming it is a smear tactic to bring down the MACC reputations is really a farce that you are desperately grasping to save your self. The man in MACC that is the centre of public concerns is you and please do not drag MACC and her man down with you by staying any more longer in the job. It will only further tarnish and bring MACC right to shit hole. Nobody cares a damn on your high achievement in landing a prize in your randy exploits but the chips are too high to allow a frivolous man to jeopardise the image that the jobs' entail. Be aman and go out quietly.!!!!

    • Oh Yea!!! nearly forgot!!! MACC should also conduct a further investigation on your sexual tryst in Bali knowingly that it was somekind of working trip but after that was a private holiday in your few days hole up in a posh villas. Was it paid by you personally or lump into MACC account ?. I am curious as it is a norm for precedent has been set by UmnoBN Ministers that tax payers in Malaysia shall take care of their welfare.

  • At the end of the day, you're thinking with another brain between your crotch. If the expose is true, you were screwing someone's else wife with no regards to both of your and her children & spouse.

You're criminal in the eyes of civil law and Islamic law. If hudud is here, you should be stoned to death in public.

I'm eager to hear comment from all PAS, Mufti, Ustaz and Ustazah nationwide.

    • I meant the commentators. Why you commentators care what goes on in his bedroom? A playboy who fights corruption is better than a saint who does nothing. Do you want Malaysia to be more corrupted? Does any of you know all French Presidents had mistresses and none of their citizens cared.

    • Wrong!!! as I have mentioned the position demands a man of high morality. When he is caught with his pants down on being immoral and whats more with somebody else missus is too high a price to take it lightly. He can be easily swayed in decision by threats and blackmailing. Nobody gives a damn on anyone sexual tryst as long as it directly or indirectly do not affect others welfare . This is then a personal matters of which I am pretty sure will not grab the nation attention. Let's not be blinded by the flash in a pan on all the recent busting as it still do not fit into the dot of the expected big crime bust. As a graft buster he should have done more and from the way he was appointed looks very fishy!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Wrong, all Malaysians want corruption busted, starting with MO1. Dzulkifli Ahmad was politically appointed by MO1 to shield his crimes, that's why Dzulkifli does not walk the talk and does not practise what he preaches --- but you're too stupid to understand that.

Posted 6 years ago by Kuasa Rakyat · Reply

    • Please be realistic. At the moment nobody can touch MO1. I'm glad small fishes are being caught before they grow into big fishes, even just as a warning. Just because he cannot catch MO1, would you prefer him to "goyang kaki" just like his predecessors and allow corruption to fester and grow. Is it because the hue and cry due to him targeting an opposition fish. I'm all for it. I want a corruption free nation, meaning all corrupted politicians, whether the government or opposition, should be jailed. If not, what difference does it make if PH comes into power and become a corrupted government. There is no difference between a corrupted BN and a corrupted PH government. Its too much to expect the government to target their own politicians. Look at other countries; the corrupted politicians are caught only after they lost power. As long as MO1 is in power, whoever MACC chief is, he will NEVER caught. Be prepared for him to be DICTATOR FOR LIFE such that even his own people cannot catch him......... All these about morality is a smoke screen created by the opposition to ease on CORRUPTED opposition politicians ..... hypocrisy !!! .... wants corrupted BN politicians caught but want to protect their own .... !@#$ ...

  • This is what happens when you serve political masters rather than the people. Rakyat would care if they are the boss and the only boss, but if you serve others like a whore, why should they have you. Go look to your other to fix your problem.

  • MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad is obviously aping his political master who seems to have got away scot-free (so far) despite having been incriminated in the world’s largest theft of public funds.
Dzulkifli’s virtual admission to committing the offence through this statement, coupled with the woman having owned up to the extra-marital affair, have left law-enforcer with no alternative but to arrest Dzulkifli for breach of Section 498 of the Penal Code for enticing or taking away a married woman.
So, what are you waiting for, IGP Fuzi Harun? The heavy burden of upholding the rule of law now rests heavily on your shoulders, for a further relapse in nabbing the nation’s chief graft buster, after the world-renowned failure to bring the Prime Minister to book on the 1MDB scandal, will precipitate the collapse of public morals and deal a fatal blow to the rule of law in the country.

    • IGP Fuzi would have wished that he was not promoted a wee bit too early. He has to play the charade of bringing justice to the case but to what degree will it be played. Lets's be pragmatic. 1MDB culprit could just be cleared with mere words from the AG office. It is also public knowledge and a twist of irony that the current MACC boss was part of the contigent in the AG office at that time speaks volume in how far will the MACC boss will be implicated in this section 498.
