PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin will be joining deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali at a second party “meeting” in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow night.

“Yes, we are organising the Shared Prosperity Vision dinner under Azmin,” Zuraida told reporters on the sidelines of the PKR Congress in Malacca today.

However, she denies it is another PKR congress.

“No, it’s not. It’s a dinner. I think it’s wrong. It’s a dinner called Shared Prosperity Vision.”

When asked if other senior party members, such as R. Sivarasa, Muhammad Hilman Idham and Ali Biju will be attending, Zuraida said: “Yes. But it’s not a congress. It’s just a dinner”.

Earlier today, a programme called “PKR Delegate Appreciation Dinner 2019” is being circulated on social media.

The programme said the dinner will be at Hotel Renaissance in Kuala Lumpur from 6pm tomorrow.

It will begin with the arrival of PKR delegates at 6.30pm followed by the arrival of PKR muafakat leaders.

Among those slotted to speak at the dinner are activist Hishamuddin Rais, PKR central leadership committee member Sivarasa, Azmin’s political secretary and youth deputy chairman Hilman, PKR women’s chief Haniza Talha, vice-presidents Ali, Tian Chua, and Zuraida, and Azmin. – December 7, 2019.
