AFTER the public outcry against calls to censor Netflix content, a local streaming platform Aflix TV says those against censorship are failing the younger generation.
“Those who are angry at the suggestion to censor Netflix content, do not love children,” Aflix TV founder and chief executive officer Mohd Fadzil Hashim told The Malaysian Insight.

What bloody nonsense. The way to teach kids is educate and made them aware of whats right and whats wrong, and be open-minded. In short, its better to teach kids not to have the fatwa mentality and to learn to be respectful and tolerant of the rights of others.

Your Aflix is crap. We do not need censorship because parents are able to control their children's access to Netflix by just clicking on the settings and educating on them on sexual matters. All these years with censorship by the Film Censorship Board and FINAS, have our statistics for sexual offences come down even in conservative Malay majority states like Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah?

Those who are against Netflix censorship are smart enough to know how to assert parental control.

Admit it, your business model is bust! :-D What happened to that halal airline?

Then market your Aflix as such, i.e. providing wholesome platform for family enjoyment! There is no need for you to call for censoring Netflix, unless you're not confidence in your business hence resorting to underhanded tactic.

There's a lot of stuff out there that can influence kids and the parents need to bring them up to make the right choices. Netflix is available of different gadgets and can be viewed by one person without everyone watching along. So that in itself is a control. The guy just wants to squash his competition that his product will i can already predict, not get great viewership. Just listening to this guy makes you question the quality of content to expect.

Parent setting a good example is more important than controlling what they're about to learn in future. Btw u had to thank netflix..never heard of aflix until now

If you cant control what your kids watch then do not subscribe to Netflix. The key word here: Do not SUBSCRIBE. It is not imposed by anyone it is your CHOICE! You have a choice NOT TO SUBSCRIBE!
