TWO DAP assemblymen and 10 others held over alleged links to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) are facing additional charges at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today.

Seremban Jaya assemblyman P. Gunasekaran and Gadek assemblyman G. Saminathan and the 10 men were charged on Tuesday in their respective states.

The 12 were detained by the counter-terrorism division (E8) on October 10 and 12 in various parts of the country.

Earlier, there was a commotion outside the courtroom as some family members were asked to move as they did not have the visitor passes given out by the court. 

A group of men, who claimed to be relatives of those being charged, argued with police personnel before they left. – October 31, 2019.
