BERSATU president Muhyiddin Yassin said the transition of power from Dr Mahathir Mohamad is unavoidable but needs to be studied.
“I think it can’t be avoided. When the time comes, the transition of power will happen. The matter that arises is when, who… so I say let us study the matter.
“There are Pakatan Harapan leaders, it is best the matter is discussed.”
“Dr Mahathir is part of our leadership, and he will be involved,” he said after attending a gathering with the Home Ministry’s staff at the Pontian Police headquarters yesterday.
Muhyiddin, who is also home minister, was among four leaders who signed the agreement on the power transition before the 14th general election.
The others were Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who was PKR president at the time, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.
As for a transition date, Muhyiddin said he could not recall whether a specific date had been set in the agreement.
He said it was important to show that in PH, there was understanding, cooperation and commitment among the four component parties. – October 26, 2019.

And your party is at loggerheads with DAP, and is also doing a swell job dismantling the aspirations of Malaysians who gave u, pbbm and Mahathir their vote.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Well see whether there will be another u turn.
